UST College of Nursing 1st International Research Conference for Nursing Students (IRCoNS) Posted: 01 Feb 2011 08:09 PM PST The University of Santo Tomas, the oldest existing university in Asia, envisions itself as a center of excellence in academics, community development and research. In line with the quadricentennial celebration of the university and the 65th anniversary of the UST – College of Nursing, the First International Research Conference for Nursing Students (IRCoNS) is being organized to synchronize Universities and Colleges of Nursing with the theme: Stimulating Creative Minds towards New Frontiers in Nursing Research The UST-College of Nursing invites nursing students, both graduates and those taking up their master's degree to submit an abstract to be considered for presentation (oral/poster) at the First International Research Conference for Nursing Students (IRCoNS). This will be held on: March 9 – 10, 2011 at the University of Santo Tomas, EspaƱa, Manila, Philippines. The Scientific Committee will review abstracts after the deadline of abstract submission. Notification of abstract acceptance will be sent via e-mail to those who submit abstracts for the website. Accepted abstracts will be allocated to oral presentation or poster exhibition based on the submitters’ choices. This program will enhance the nurses’ attitude, knowledge and skills in the delivery of their expanded role as intravenous nurse therapists.
