A statistics report for the estimated number of test-takers of the December 2010 Nursing Board Exam (Nurse Licensure Examination/NLE) was released by Marco Antonio C. Sto. Tomas. Marco Antonio C. Sto. Tomas is one of the members of the Board of Nursing (BON).

An estimated 85,800 nurses will take the December 2010 Nursing Board Exam. Metro Manila garnered the most number of examinees (32,000).

Aesculap Academy’s 3-Day Basic Intravenous Therapy (IVT) Training

Date: December 8 – 10, 2010
Location: Mercy Community Hospital (Iligan City)

The Intravenous Therapy (IVT) training program is primarily designed to ensure safe practice in Intravenous Therapy. This program will enhance the nurses’ attitude, knowledge and skills in the delivery of their expanded role as intravenous nurse therapists. This course consists of discussions of concepts in intravenous therapy and demonstration of skills in access-related situations. It consists of 24-hour didactic lectures and practicum utilizing Procedures I-IV checklist as the framework for providing safe IV therapy practice.

Endorsement: Association of Nursing Service Administrators of the Philippines, Inc. (ANSAP)

Maximum number of participants: 65

Note:
