The Professional Regulation Commission recently launched a new service that allows the online verification of the status of professionals. Dubbed the Online Verification of Filipino Professionals or the OVFP, it enables the public or employer to check the authenticity of the license of the professionals which they are dealing with.
To verify the status of a professional, just visit the PRC Website (www.prc.gov.ph) and go to the eServices menu-OVFP (http://www.prc.gov.ph/_licensesearch_profession.asp), type the registration number and date of birth. If the search does not return a record of the professional, the verifier may email the PRC Registration Division at (prc.registration@gmail.com).
