The UP Manila – National Telehealth Center is looking for a nurse who is also a developer (RN not required) with the following skills:

1. Microsoft ASP.NET, C# programming language on Visual Studio.NET 2005
2. ORACLE 10g database management as backend data store.
3. capability of downloading web page information into Microsoft Excel
4. able to integrate Micorsoft outlook E-mail client into Web application to send E-mail via Exchange Server.
5. able to program membership and role management with ASP.NET CreateUserWizard server Control, Login Server Control and related password management Controls in Microsoft SQL server database or ORACLE database.

Aesculap Academy’s 3-Day Basic IV Therapy Training

Date: November 25 – 27, 2010
Location: Victor R. Potenciano Medical Center

The Intravenous Therapy (IVT) training program is primarily designed to ensure safe practice in Intravenous Therapy. This program will enhance the nurses’ attitude, knowledge and skills in the delivery of their expanded role as intravenous nurse therapists. This course consists of discussions of concepts in intravenous therapy and demonstration of skills in access-related situations. It consists of 24-hour didactic lectures and practicum utilizing Procedures I-IV checklist as the framework for providing safe IV therapy practice.

Speaker(s): ANSAP Trainers and Preceptors

Endorsement: Association of Nursing Service Administrators of the Philippines, Inc. (ANSAP)

Maximum number of participants: 65

Note:

  • Completion of the training program requirements facilitates issuance of IV Therapy License
  • Course fee varies per institution.
