Date: August 26 – 28, 2010 Date: August 31, – September 2, 2010 Target group: Nurses Contents: The Intravenous Therapy Program is primarily designed to ensure safe practice in Intravenous Therapy. This program will enhance the nurses’ attitude, knowledge and skills in the delivery of their expanded role as intravenous nurse therapists. This course consists of discussions of concepts in intravenous therapy and demonstration of skills in access-related situations. It consists of 24-hour didactic lectures and practicum utilizing Procedures I-IV checklist as the framework for providing safe IV therapy practice.
